Am Samstagabend schlug die Stunde für eine paar musikalische Feingeister aus dem hohen Norden: Karin Rudefelt und Doctor Blues. Lennart Olofsson ließ seine Slide-Gitarre in melancholischen Tönen schwelgen. Zum Weinen schön. Doch die Musiker legten mit Songs wie „Do You Walk The Walk“ und „Magic Brew“ auch einen Zahn zu, was alle Tanzwütigen freute. Immer mittendrin: die ausdrucksstarke tiefe Röhre von Frontfrau Karin Rudefelt, die sich ins Gedächtnis einbrannte

Schmölz Blues Tage

Great success and a wonderful time. In the beautiful town of Schmölz in Bavaria we were all smiles. It was a lot of car-time, but well worth all the effort.

We had bratwurzt mit sauerkraut and local beer with foam like whipped cream. The music and the beer was flowing. We jammed with Bogdan, the juke joint pimps and easy rider. We got a penthouse apartment to share and got truly spoilt by our lovely landlady, with “fika” with several kinds of cake and a breakfast better than any hotel could offer. All made and presented with love and care.

Special thanks from all of us to Owe, Bogdan, The Juke Joint Pimps, the Easy Rider guys, the guy mixing our stage sound and the gentleman with the huge beard.

We are going to Germany!

On friday we will go to Germany and on Saturday we will play at "Schmölzer Blues Tage" in Schmölz. That will be great! After some great gigs this summer we are really looking forward to meet the German blues audience. Peace and Love. See you :-)
