Hello Music Lovers!
Lennart here, from the Swedish band Karin Rudefelt & Doctor Blues. How about a fresh sample of some smokin’ and heavy Swedish blues to make your day more interesting?
We’re an established Swedish blues band looking for new opportunities abroad. Our latest album “magic brew” is a good representation of the diversity of our sound. We play only own material, firmly rooted in the blues with lots of influences from rock, funk and jazz.
We’d love for you to take a few minutes of your time and listen to some of the tracks from it, perhaps while reading the reviews below.
Tracks from magic brew.
Magic brew - the album title track is cooking with voodoo vibes.

Monsters ball - one of our heaviest, funk infused tracks. Lyrics about hate crime.

Could have been you - the one who got away. Rock with that bluesy feeling to this one.

Point of no return – The crime of passion. When you get there, nothing will ever be the same.

"This is heavy, really heavy! Karin Rudefelt has to be Sweden's best blues singer and she even scores high on the overall listing. Buy the album if you want to hear blues that lives."
Lennart Gotesson - Dalademokraten (Swedish Newspaper, about magic brew)
“Doctor Blues continues to constantly develop their blues. It is electric, vibrant and very neatly produced. Very rarely do they end up in the sour blues swamp."

“A compact, temporary sound which doesn’t forget its tradition, with a passionate mood, simple grooves with real feeling and the beautiful voice of Karin Rudefelt.”
